Duffield Adamson & Helenbolt, P.C. was first founded in 1963 under the name Spaid, Fish, Briney & Duffield. At that time, William Spaid, a long-time resident and former state legislator, Richard R. Fish, an experienced estate planner, Richard C. Briney, a top defense trial lawyer, and Richard Duffield, a recent law school graduate, formed a partnership that would continue for decades. At the time of its inception, the firm was one of the premier insurance defense firms in the community. Over the years, however, the firm shifted its focus to estate planning, estate and trust administration, real estate, contracts and business formation, and continues to provide legal counsel to individuals, their families, and their closely-held businesses In 1972, the firm established a full service office in the Green Valley, Arizona, area. Duffield Adamson & Helenbolt serves clients and supports the community in Green Valley and the surrounding area to this day.
